Electronics has given tremendous growth in Computer Science, Communication, Control, Instrumentation, Information Technology etc. Although electronic devices such as Computer, Cellular Phones and Television, etc., are well known, but the insides of these devices are a mystery. Electronics engineering is the knowledge related to the functioning of such electronic devices.
This book covers complete fundamentals of electronics engineering. It has been written in an easy and lucid understandable language with illustrative diagrams and sufficient examples. The book has been completely revised and a chapter on PSPICE has also been added.
A summary is given at the end of each chapter, followed by questions. University question papers have been included for preparatory tests before appearing in final examination. It is hoped that the book will meet the expectations of the faculty and the students studying for their engineering degree.

About the Author
Dr. O.N. Pandey obtained B.Tech., ME and Ph.D degrees from Institutions like IIT-Kanpur and University of Roorkee (presently IIT-Roorkee), etc.
He received UNIDO fellowship and specialized in the field of Instrumentation, Control and Industrial Automation in US. He has presented several technical papers and also participated in various seminars in India, US, UK, Italy and Japan.
He served as Senior Technical Officer in CMTI-Bangalore for about 12 years. He has been responsible for the development of Technologies related with automation of manufacturing industries. He is a professor and has been teaching engineering students for a more than a decade. |
