About the Book
Exploration of various advanced materials for energy devices particularly based on renewable energy is a daunting task. In this book fundamental aspects of various energy resources namely, photovoltaic energy, thermoelectric energy, green hydrogen generation, lithium-ion battery, fuel cell, supercapacitors along with various devices and applications have been discussed in six chapters. Primary focus of all chapters is to explore utilization of various materials like conventional bulk materials, thin films, low dimensional materials, nanomaterials for above mentioned energy generation process. For some specific cases, role of quantum materials has been discussed. For some energy devices use of various organic materials, electrolytes etc. have been addressed. Apart from these, brief discussion on some physical and chemical routes for the synthesis of energy materials have been highlighted.
