About the Series :-
This series of short textbooks prepared by well- known authors is an attempt to deliver the vast knowledge of chemistry in a more concise yet comprehensive format for easy understanding and learning by the users. Need for this type of material has been strongly felt by the students studying chemistry at UG and PG levels for quite sometime and hence this product.

About the Authors :-
Prof. V.K. Ahluwalia is a visiting faculty at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Centre for Biomedical Research, University of Delhi, Delhi. He has also been associated with Prof. Herbert C. Brown, Nobel Laureate. His overall teaching experience is more than four decades.
Dr. G.S. Sodhi is presently a Reader in Inorganic Chemistry at S.G.T.B. Khalsa College, University of Delhi. He is Regional Vice President, Fingerprint Society, U.K. Prior to this, he was a Visiting Fellow, National Crime Records Bureau, New Delhi in 1996-97.
Ms. Renu Aggarwal is working as a Reader in Chemistry at Gargi College, New Delhi for the last fifteen years.
